Hue - The colour itself
Value - How much black is in a colour
Saturation - How vibrant or dull it is
Tint and shade - How light or dark it is
What is the difference between each of these colour schemes?:
Analogous - Next to each other
Complimentary - Directly opposite
Split Complimentary - One colour and then a colour each side of its complimentary
Tetrad - Four colours with atleast one colour seperating them
Triad - Three colours evenly spaced from each other
What are these color schemes used for?
They help determine which colours match each other and which other ones clash.
